Chinese company DJI has unveiled its first 360-degree drone — Avata 360.

It features a camera capable of shooting HDR video in 8K resolution at 60 frames per second. The starting price is around 4,400 yuan (about $640).

The announcement comes amid a patent dispute with Shenzhen-based Insta360. DJI has filed a lawsuit against the competitor, accusing it of infringing six patents related to drone control and video processing.

Avata 360 is only the second 360-degree drone in the world. Last year, Antigravity, with support from Insta360, released the A1 drone. Its recommended retail price is $1,600, although it is currently available with a 20% discount.
